Miller-Meeks: Girls Sports are for Girls

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) today released the following statement after the Supreme Court’s ruling upheld laws protecting girls’ and women’s school sports teams.
“The Supreme Court just made it clear: girls’ sports are for girls. Young women deserve a fair chance to compete and today’s decision helps protect the integrity of women’s sports for generations to come. This is a massive win for every young woman who has fought for a fair opportunity, a level playing field, and the right to compete and win." said Congresswoman Miller-Meeks.
Congresswoman Miller-Meeks has long supported policies that preserve fairness in women's sports and has consistently advocated for protecting opportunities for female athletes by keeping men out of women’s sports.
