Miller-Meeks Hosts Telephone Town Hall with Over 13,000 Iowans

December 19, 2025

Washington, D.C. - Last night, Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) hosted her final telephone town hall of 2025, bringing together more than 13,000 Iowans to discuss the top issues facing families as the year comes to a close, from healthcare and the economy to border security and support for our veterans.

"It’s always an honor to hear directly from Iowans, and I couldn’t be more proud to end this year with one of our biggest wins yet, passing my bill to lower healthcare premiums for ALL Americans," said Miller-Meeks. "Healthcare costs have been crushing families and small businesses for years. The Lowering Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act is a serious step forward in putting patients and their doctors, not insurance companies, back in charge."

Miller-Meeks emphasized that this was a strong finish to a historic year of progress, with House Republicans delivering results to make America affordable again. From tax relief to energy independence and securing the border, she pledged to keep fighting in 2026 to protect Iowa values and ensure every family can thrive.

"We’ve got more work ahead, but we’re ending 2025 with real momentum," Miller-Meeks added. "I want to wish every Iowan a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for the opportunity to serve, you can count on me to keep fighting for you in 2026."
