As a Member of the United States House of Representatives from the great state of Iowa, I have the honor of representing the interests of family farmers, producers, and ranchers. Farming is a way of life for many Iowans, and we all understand how our local farmers help feed and fuel the world.

This weekend is the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks that led to the deaths of 2,996 Americans.

As a 24-year U.S. Army veteran and a Congresswoman representing a state with thousands of Gold Star Families, active-duty military, and retired servicemen and women, one of my top priorities in Congress is looking out for their best interests.

This week, the world-famous Iowa State Fair officially kicked off after a year hiatus.

This coming week is the first week of the Congressional August district work period and I am thrilled to be back in Iowa!

Every day, hundreds of military service members who have valiantly served our country retire from the Armed Forces and begin their search for civilian employment.
