Mar. 11—WASHINGTON — The U.S. House and U.S. Senate both voted to approve a $1.5 trillion spending package that will send aid to Ukraine, while also funding the government through September.
The U.S. Senate passed its appropriations bill Thursday night, sending the bill to President Joe Biden for his signature. According to Iowa's congressional delegation, the bill would fund expansion and development projects across Iowa.

The U.S. Senate passed a spending bill that includes $13.6 billion in aid to Ukraine on Thursday, with Republican Iowa Sens. Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst voting in favor of the bill.
