Florida Rep. Maria Salazar and a group of Republican lawmakers introduced legislation Thursday that would require high schools nationwide to teach the history of communism.

The "Crucial Communism Teaching Act" would require high schools to teach students about the history of communism and has 60 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives.

A Biden administration proposal to restore an Obama-era regulation to redefine “waters of the United States” (WOTUS) under the Clean Water Act would negatively impact rural America and the nation’s agriculture industry, according to U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL).

“I’m disappointed by the Biden administration’s decision to go back to the archaic pre-2015 definition of ‘waters of the United States’ or WOTUS,” Rep. Davis said on Nov. 24. “This is yet again an example of President Biden turning his back on farmers and rural America.”

The Livestock Mandatory Reporting Act must be reauthorized by December 3rd and Senator Chuck Grassley is the lead sponsor of a plan to also force disclosure of the prices paid in private sales of cattle being raised and sold under contracts with a meatpacker.

Thanksgiving is a classic American celebration that is deeply rooted in our history. It is my favorite holiday—a time to reflect on everything for which we are thankful. I have always enjoyed joining family members in preparing dinner, baking pies, playing games, and sharing the meal together around the table.

We have a Thanksgiving tradition in my household where we hold hands and bless the meal and then go around the dinner table sharing what we are thankful for, and positive stories we have experienced throughout the year.
