Miller-Meeks Announces Winners of 2021 Congressional Art Competition
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, May 14, 2021, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) announced the winners of the Second District’s 2021 Congressional Art Competition.
“I was delighted to see the excellent work done by students from across the Second District for this year’s competition. The skill displayed by this year’s entries is the culmination of years of hard work and practice,” said Miller-Meeks. “Thank you to all of the student entries and thank you to the parents and teachers for their support.”
In first place is Alita Bossler from Cardinal Middle-Senior High School with City Street.

In second place is Ava Heemsbergen from Cardinal Middle-Senior High School with Cottage.

In third place is Alexis M. with Late Day Beach Trip.

The first place winner’s art will be on display in the United States Capitol for the next year. The second place winner’s art will be on display in Miller-Meeks’ office in Washington, D.C.
