Miller-Meeks Completes Second 24 County Tour

OTTUMWA, I.A.—Today, June 9th, 2021, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) announced the completion of her second 24 County Tour, having now visited all 24 of the Second District’s counties at least twice since being sworn in on January 3rd, 2021.

“Over the last few months I have had the absolute pleasure of crisscrossing the district I am fortunate enough to represent in the House of Representatives. From Decatur County to Clinton and everywhere in between, it has been amazing to meet with so many proud Iowans,” said Miller-Meeks. “I have heard from business owners and workers about our local economy, listened to farmers discuss this year’s crop season, and spoken with teachers about how they are molding the minds of our future leaders. My favorite part by far has been the numerous times I was able to help administer COVID-19 vaccines at our great health centers, pharmacies, and hospitals to do as much as I can to get Iowa back to normal. I will continue to travel across the Second District and listen to our communities about how I can best represent them as their Congresswoman.”
