Over the past year, the Biden Administration has failed to deliver on their promise to shut down the virus. Instead, they have continued to politicize the pandemic and fearmonger.

They have threatened the jobs of hard-working Americans, including our military, with a mandate that has been struck down by the Supreme Court.

They have threatened to shut down businesses even though Main Street America has already suffered enough and faced the challenges of an ongoing supply chain crisis.

Ensuring a strong national defense and supporting our veterans are two of my priorities in Congress.

In December, after months of strong bipartisan work, the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was signed into law.

This commonsense legislation provides much-needed increases in troop pay, improves servicemember mental health services, and increases available funds well over the President’s initial budget request. The bill also provides funding to improve equipment and readiness and I was proud to vote in favor of it.

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday to block an OSHA rule requiring employers with 100 or more employees to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or frequent rapid testing. However, the Supreme Court upheld the mandate for health care workers in facilities that receive Medicare and Medicaid dollars.

Elected officials in Iowa responded to the ruling.
