117th Congress
Iowa's 1st Congressional District spans 20 counties in the southeastern region of the state, encompassing a diverse mix of urban centers, small towns, and rural communities. The district borders the Mississippi River, providing scenic beauty and serving as a key artery for trade and agriculture. The landscape includes rolling hills, river valleys, and fertile plains that support a rich tradition of farming and community life.
One of the most important aspects of Congress is developing, making, and monitoring laws. New legislation is passed almost every week. Please contact our office to share your thoughts on current legislation that may affect you, your family and your community.
