Miller-Meeks Submits 15 Community Project Funding Requests for Iowa’s First Congressional District

DAVENPORT — Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) today announced she submitted 15 Community Project Funding requests in Iowa’s First Congressional District. Requested for Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriations, the projects will now go through the House Appropriations Committee for approval.
“I am proud to submit 15 community projects that would greatly benefit Iowa’s First Congressional District,” said Miller-Meeks. “These initiatives range from investing in expanding trained workforce resources for local hospitals, to rebuilding our aging infrastructure in the state and improving our wastewater facilities. Thank you to all who submitted applications for important projects and the countless local leaders for advocating for future investments in our community.”
