Joni Ernst’s (R-IA) United States Army Rangers Veterans of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act unanimously passed the House of Representatives. This legislation would award the U.S. Army Ranger Veterans of World War II with the Congressional Gold Medal.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, May 10th, 2022, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. (IA-02) signed on as a cosponsor of H.R. 2565, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Modernization Act. This bipartisan bill, introduced by Rep. Vern Buchanan (FL-16), would end a government requirement that animal testing be used to determine a drug's effectiveness on humans.
